2007 Camp Akita Annual Bike-A-Thon

The annual bike ride is to raise money for Camp Akita to support the "Kabins4Kids" initiative. Each double cabin build will sleep 12 individuals. Funds are needed to build these cabins before the 2007 camping season begins. This year's ride is scheduled on Sunday, May 20th, Northern Illinois, I & M Canal State Trail, Marseilles. The Southern Illinois ride is scheduled on Sunday, April 22, Tunnel Hill State Trail, Vienna. Please consider getting involved. You can access more information at www.campakita.com, the internet, the Illinois Conference youth department,or your local church.
Run, Walk, Ride, or Volunteer - only $25.00 to register, each participant receives a T-shirt and refreshments. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded for both adults and children for those who raise the highest dollar amount. Ask friends and neighbors to sponsor you in the event.
